You don't need to be constantly thriving. Some seasons you just need to slow down, breathe out, and be among people who get it. Wallow is three unhurried nights in a big old house in the Cairngorms, for photographers who could use the rest.

The idea
Less retreat-industrial-complex, more long weekend with friends.
Born out of Fika, Wallow is a non-profit gathering built to give a small group of photographers some respite, perspective and camaraderie after what's probably been a very busy year.
Rest, not performance
No stage, no headline speaker, no pitch at the end. Just a cosy house, good people, and permission to switch off after a long year.
We all pitch in
Nobody runs this. Everyone who comes contributes something, a session, a walk, a pot of something on the stove. It's ours, together.
Gently structured
A few relaxed sessions on business, craft and life across the middle days, led by whoever fancies sharing. The rest is yours to spend as you like.
